ALI PROJECT - GOD DIVA

The bad guy's song from .hack//Roots.

On the side note, my finals are coming up next week. I might(or might not) have to delay the next release a bit, so I don't get slaughtered on my exams. Yell

heya,
thanks for your nice work on .hack//roots...

There is a song at the end of episode 11, when Haseo and Shino are alone in the guild room. It differs from the song when they usually look at each other.

I would be very thankful if you could encode it somehow...

Anybody know what that opera singing in the beginning (and in the middle) is from?
i recognise it but can't place it and it's driving me up the walls.

It's from the Queen of the Night's aria, from Die Zauberflöte ("The Magic Flute"), by Mozart.

Anyone looking for the translation of this?

I was, and found it.. I thought I'd share.

if an angel from hell
were to come and offer to sell
a seed of good fortune
the one for ill fortune is cheaper
would you like a sample
of a magnificent tragedy?
were you to fall into an unforeseen trap
would you believe then and there
that a competent defense counsel
would come to your rescue?
come on, welcome!
this is the land of salvation
you just be quiet
and submit your body
please forget, please forget
about the vagueness of the world
along the way down the road you desire to take
is a rose-coloured catastrophe
in a reality lost of colour
the life theater of inhuman lust
is a full house
you think the misfortune of others
that heartlessly drips
with the flavour of honey
won't happen upon you, don't you?
come on, welcome!
here is the blood of paradise
you just cast your eyes downward
and hold out your arms
please dream, please dream
deep at the bottom of that world
splitting from the tip of a needle
is a tragicomedy of demise
feast your eyes on this ugly sight
a tower blooms from the sand, tripping those feet
please destroy it, please destroy it
holding onto your will
come on, welcome!
this is the land of salvation
you be quiet already
and entrust your body
please forget, please forget
about the vagueness of the world
your travelling companion perishes, you're at a dead end
it's a hot catastrophe

Thank you!! The familiarity was driving me crazy also. I knew it was probably classical, but had no idea what it was from. Now where did I hear Die Zauberflöte…?

I'm so glad someone posted what the beginning of the song was. I recognized it as well, but couldn't put my finger on it. What a wild song. I'd never heard it before. It's great to see the lyrics too. It changes the whole feel of the song.
