.hack//G.U. - Returner
Long time no see. 
Well, I was busy with my life for a while, then I got addicted to hacking and slashing through Persona3 Fes for the past three days(and I'm far from done).
Here is the dot hack stuff I mentioned, .hack//G.U. Returner. It's to the .hack//G.U. series like .hack//GIFT was to the original .hack games(you get it in Japan if you purchased all three games). But unlike .hack//GIFT, which was purely for fun, Returner ends the .hack//G.U. series in a mind opening way.
I ripped this one off DVD myself, hope I didn't do anything wrong. I'm only realeasing a XviD version this time, encoding it in x264 seems like an overkill.

I was wondering for a long time now, how do you rip a dvd? Or more specifically what software do you may or may not use to rip the dvd off? Also do you know how to put it on a blank dvd? I know its possibly but I don't know how. Well if you can help me with this problem I would really appreciate it.
Woohoo!! Persona 3. Still on preorder for me. I've heard great things about that game. Hope it lives up to the hype.

burning to a dvd is a bit more complicated first you must find out if your disk drive can burn dvds(this can be discerned from a quick look at it usually) then find a good and easy dvd burning software one good one for beginners is Nero.
from there on out nero does a good job of guiding you through it
This is all assuming that you are pretty new to the whole idea and are using windows forgive me if these assumptions are wrong

I must admit, I began losing my temper after the third week but now my only problem is: Should I, or Shouldn't I watch this? *cries* I want to see it so bad but it will spol vol 3 (which should be out in about 2 months and a week give or take) WHY!?

The 3rd game hasn't been relased yet for USA. Will probably be on there. Myself I haven't bought game 2 of GU for the PS2 cause I've spent most on computer...

you can get the DVD on yahoo auctions japan for an minimum of 4000 yen, which is about 40 bucks, and it'll probably only get more expensive in the future. you can use a deputy service like http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/ to purchase stuff from YAJ if you are not in Japan.
i dont think http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/ have it yet, but i will purchase once its avaliable in ebay and nice work

How do you modify the subtitle? I've never done anything like that before, so I really don't know where to begin. I just know that the mistake is going to bug me to death everytime I watch it though...
@Noxferatu: download mkvtoolnix from here http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/downloads.html, extract the two subtitle files(ASS and SRT), modify them, then re-mux them back together.

Nice to see I can still get all my dothack anime here, Thank you alot Lu without you I wouldn't have been able to see all of dot hack roots and returner. Keep up the good work and I hope you can do another anime soon since I love your subs. Again good work You are the best!!

I got a Ps2 from japan. bought some games too. the visual action novel games are stories with loads of voice actors. power supply from my ps2 works on it just fine. anyway going to be more careful what i buy now since those arent even romanized lanuage.
@Skeith The Terror Of Death: Some dude? That's me <3 I put it on YouTube, subbed, THE DAY it came out. The subs were done the next week. I released a High Quality, perfectly subbed version, with no mistakes, I might add, onto the internet, a week after it's release in Japan. Of course, since I'm not as popular as LuPerry, it didn't get as many hits. :3
I'm wondering why LuPerry bothered to sub this at all. I did it before he did, and a much better job at that. I can only assume he didn't see my version before he did it :/

Wow it's been some time since I've been here. I remember the good ol' times when .Hack//Roots was being aired in Japan and I'd rush over here for the subbed on Wednesday or something. now I have the entire series, lol. I don't wanna delete it. lol.
