However, dont get the wrong imression, its really creepy! The cuteness is like a(.. whats the word in english?^^) contrast(?), wich make the creepy parts really good! (i guess, from watching ep1)

Ah Higurashi. Very good show that, if you don't mind the occaisional freakiness.

 A word of warning though (and this really isn't a spoiler, but if you REALLY want to not have a clue what you're getting yourself into and dont want a helpful tip about the shows structure I've included a few spaces just in case):

The show operates on a sort of "Groundhog Day/Sliding Doors" principle. What I mean is, when the show appears to "reset" itself, don't worry. The entire show (aside from two episodes halfway through) essentially takes place over the same few days, showing what might have happened had various events turned out differently.

 Oh and a lot of people don't like episodes 9 to 14 as its focus and tone is very different from the first two arcs, and the animation quality starts to sink. Personally I found those episodes quite interesting, though even I have my criticisms, um but yeah anyway, it's a great show regardless!

 P.S: If you want to have any hope of 'solving' the show you may want to check out the animesuki forums as various fans of the original games have added some translated extras that where missing in the anime. That said, they're positively wretched with spoilers so definately wait till your up to date episode-wise before heading there.

I love this.. but.. but..! I accidentaly deleted ep3!!

But once i got it (again.. T_T), i got 3 episodes to watch.. 17 minutes to go.. cant wait!!^^

Oh yeah, in case you should wonder bout the late hour, im going away tomorrow, we're gonna go really far by car, so im staying up so i can sleep most of the time while going there^^

Oh, and one more thing, what is a Cicada? it sounds lke a bird.. please tell me, i'd love to know^^

this thing. it's a common insect in Asia during the summer(one of the major symbols of summer in China and Japan). it's really big(about the size of your thumb). the male makes a loud noise(the cry) to attract females.

I remember I used to catch them and BBQ them on the camp fire back when I was 9 ^^; crispy.

with torrent I can only go as far as 16, but according to animenfo, there are 26 episode.

Is this anime creepier than "death Note"? I think "Death Note" is creepy because it deals with killing people by writing their names in a book.
