Shimamiya Eiko - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
The opening theme of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni(When Cicadas Cry), a really creepy anime from this season, it's one of the animes I missed on the "What's the best anime this season? " poll from last time... though I definitely rank this one as one of the top 5's(the creepiness makes it great!).
Highly recommended! ...except for the timid and those under 18... it's one of those shows that'll come back to haunt you at night...
Gundam SEED C.E.73 STARGAZER - stage 1
In case I haven't mentioned this already, I'm a big Gundam fan. Unlike some of the kiddie mecha animes, most Gundam series have compelling story lines with great character development behind the fighting robots, and the complexity of the Gundam universe is just fascinatingly amazing(think of it as the anime counterpart of Star Wars or Star Trek).
The highly anticipated Gundam SEED ONA is finally out! Though I'm a bigger fan of the Universal Century calendar series, but I must say the two Gundam SEED series are very nicely done overall(and the first one was better), so I'm expecting the same from this ONA.
The story takes place at the beginning of Gundam SEED Destiny, when Junius Seven crashed onto earth. It's a side story of Gundam SEED, so it does not involve any of the original characters from Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny.
P.S. The attached song is the TV sized version of the ending theme song, Hoshi no Tobira(星の扉, or "Door of the Stars"), by Negishi Satori(根岸さとり). The single will be released in August.

Bokura ga ita(僕等がいた)
Unlike most of the animes I've mentioned so far, there is nothing "weird" or "creepy" about this one. From the art style and the character design, this is obviously a shoujo manga based anime(sorry to disappoint those who are looking for mature themed animes). None the less, I thought it's a really cute and funny anime to watch.
Like any other shoujo manga, we have our cheerful, typical, and not-so-perfect female lead, whose name is Takahashi Nanami(高橋七美), and the popular, (almost) perfect male lead, Yano Motoharu(矢野元晴).
And it's the start of high school...
The art style(though they are definitely done by different artists) and storytelling is similar to that of Honey and Clover, but the atmosphere is more feminine and youthful(high school vs college after all).
And Nanami is really cute.

With a little girl been left behind by her mother, and found herself in an unimaginable situation, I found the anime to be very emotional. I've never read the novel, so I can't comment on how closely it sticks to the original story. But according to the sources I've looked at, the original novel had a "multitude of plots", and most likely, the anime will only focus on Cosette's childhood.
The art style is a lot like some of the western styled animes from the 80s(something I really enjoyed as a toddler), and it's airing in full HDTV glory.
The attached song is the ending theme.
Nodame Cantabile
I think this is my favorite anime this season(it's currently on the 9th episode).
It resembles Honey and Clover in a lot of ways, like soft lighting(washed-out colors), background settings(college), the comedy style, and spinning objects in the ending sequence, maybe even the music. The character design is actually a little like Sumomomo Momomo, where you get a guy who's intelligent/attractive/serious, then you get a heroine who is madly in love with the guy, who's not too intelligent. The character art style is actually not of my taste, but the comedy is great, you gotta love how Nodame says "GABU!" everytime. 
The story is about a piano student from a music school who wants to become a conductor, and with a little romance mixed in the process. The guy also suffers from aviatophobia, which happens to be his biggest obstacle in becoming a successful musician.
One thing to note is that, the voice actress(Ayako Kawasumi) of Noda Megumi, the heroine, is the voice actress of Atoli from .hack//G.U., who also did the voice of Saber from Fate/Stay Night. Can you believe that Saber and Atoli were done by the same voice actress? That's quite a shocker for me... 
The song is the ending theme. Not of typical Crystal Kay style, but I really enjoyed it.
