It's the first gundam series i watched, and still remains one of my favorites, with Gundam Wing at the top. The first Gundam series presented in the widescreen format and filmed in high definition.

Oh god people are pathetic in not understanding game history sheesh. >_> Roots is before G.U.. G.U. though at the beginning shows some scenes from roots of when he was pked (hey people if you seen the episodes where haseo came back in roots you really weren't meant to has those were not released in america on tv but were only dvd made and not until the 2nd volume came out) this is only to get you to know why haseo is called terror of death, what his goals are, what motivates him, and so on. The scenes are meant to be the same as the roots one's right when he got pked but sadly it was later said that the makers of the game screwed up and hadn't stuck fully to the scenes. They relized this later and explained this to the general audience. Also when your going to give spoilers next time freaking make sure its a spoiler and not the whole freaking storyline as thats not a spoiler. Sheesh people, have some sense.

Sorry about this but I thought it deserves mentioning.

Sora is shown in the .Hack//Sign ova episode where everyone is at a party in netslum. He has all of his memories so he can't be Haseo. If he was Haseo he wouldn't be a noob, as he was a PKer in R.1 of the world.

I believe we'll all miss lacus. But omG!? Gregorian calendar? Sweet. That's like the most realistic gundam feature since the introduction of limited ammunition in gundam 0083. Btw, thanks Lu for providing us with the lowdown on the new series, looks nice.
