: / i was just searching for any help with that freaking doppelganger and i was wandering the same as skeith the terror of death. When i was aware of the doppelganger existance i was already fighting hiiromi in reminisce. I know i can see the 2nd doppelganger here but i want the owl king key so i can get the 3 zero weapons at the end. So im a lil afraid i screw up =_= about that. and gosh i hate hiiromi that gay guy almost reaches my level. it ever happen to you that you worked so hard leveling up and when you went to your next fight in the arena your opponent was like 2 levels above from you? ._. its kind of frustrating.

At first I was confused by this . Who was William Marshal? Who was King Stephen? But as the story moved on, I enjoyed it more and more. Though William Marshal lived a brutal life in a brutal age, he made courageous choices that brought honor and integrity to his name. I found the illustrations sometimes fascinating and informative, and sometimes distracting. There were places I would have liked to see more in depth explanation of important medieval topics such as class and trade. I also thought that knighthood and the crusades were a bit unbalanced in their presentation in favor of being idealized.

I hope you to would enjoy this. Share more, the blog is fantastic.

Remember In Vol 2 you can fight the Dopple at the beginning while in the aida Server. Since the level cap is 50 there, this is the best place to defeat him.

You can get him anytime in the game. It's advisable to wait until you have the xth form at least, but the requirements are the same.

To prepare for him,
Prep1. KILL DOPPLEGANGER IN VOLUMES 1 AND 2 FIRST. He MUST be killed twice in V1(you can do both after the broadsword class upgrade) and once in V2 (after you get the scythe.) I believe he can still appear in V3 without clearing him in V1 and 2 first, but I'm fairly certain that the prize for killing him (DG-0 guns) requires the 3 key items for your prior victories as well as the xth form. These must be done in the prior volumes and cannot be done once you start volume 3. (So start a second playthrough if you missed them, sorry!) This applies to the V2 prize as well; you must have the key items from V1 or it will not drop anything.
Prep2. Stock up on stat-boosting items, or find a field with a Sleipnir. Sleipnir will halve his HP so one beast awakening can wipe the floor with him.
Prep3. If you've cleared Forest of Pain before fighting Dopple for some reason, the infinite hp and sp restore items will fill the morale gauge very quickly, allowing you to perform multiple awakenings. Single-use items work too, just not as well as the whole-party items are rare and relatively expensive.
Prep4. Save the game. If your awakening doesn't kill him, the fight becomes ridiculously long.

Once preparation is complete, the process to spawn him is as follows:

1. Go to a FIELD area on the current volume's server; a dungeon will not work!
2. I advise killing all monsters since he appears in a random location and teleports around. This is not required, but if monsters enter the fray alongside him, you're probably pretty well screwed. He can enter a battle area while you're fighting other monsters, though clearing the map prevents this.
3. Stand outside, not in the beast temple, and set the controller down for 5 minutes or so. You can go make a sandwich or something while you wait. I don't think it matters if you're riding the bike or not, but I've been on foot every time he showed up.
4. By now he should have spawned somewhere on the map. Hop on your bike and ride around until you hear the creepy music and see the distorted image; a red arrow will point to him as well. He looks like a shadowy version of Haseo's current form with glowing orange eyes (just like the ones inside Cubia if you went that far.)
5. Get in his field of vision, or if possible surprise attack him. The bike races in V2 give you a part that stealths you on your bike; this works against Doppleganger also and gets you a bit of free damage on him at the start. Sadly, he seems immune to status ailments, so the special parts that paralyze, seal, etc. will not affect him.
6. Beat him into the dirt and claim your prize. Best way is to have 3 melee characters in your team and Beast Awakening him as soon as you get a rengeki circle (Use whichever of your weapons has the highest attack power; I find a Broadsword with a lv3 arts to be the best. This should drain anywhere from 30-95% of his HP depending on your level. Again, a Sleipnir will halve his hp so at 150 one Beast Awakening will kill him. Quickly finish him off with the strongest skills you have if the awakening didn't do the job for you. If you have items to boost physical attack power, and/or really good +5 weapons, you may finish him with just that Awakening even without a Sleipnir. If you want a more drawn out fight, obviously don't use either the Sleipnir or the Awakening. He will use his version of whatever Haseo currently has equipped; if you weapon change, so will he. He'll be healing himself like crazy as well as inflicting nasty status effects and can give you a very lengthy fight even at lv 150, so if you only need the prize, just slap the Awakening in his face and be done.

Just keep making areas at the chaos gate. Make sure to look at the Green / Orange people sign at the top right corner of the screen. Green means how many PCs are on that stage currently, and orange means how many of them you've met alreadyl.

I am in desperate need of help on how to find a guy on Bikman's flyer list. His name's between Dragonfly and Pokuri. Check around Lumina Cloth and Mac Anu for both games. Twas a b***h to do, but I completed all the side quests in both games so far. Just keep popping back in and out of both towns and hope to god the person you're looking for is there. D;

Well after a little (ok a lot) of trial and error I finally figured out the requirements for The Books of Ryu(I'm not sure if its still called this but you know what I mean, the things that let you unlock bgms, wallpapers, and in game movies)

Book 1: I'm pretty sure this is how many battles you've been in and how many fields and dungeon lvls you've gone through, Pretty much if you beat the game this book is already done

Book 2: Another easy one, Just collect alot of money and give stuf to your party members to make them happy

Book 3: Don't know this one but for me it was finished by the end of the game so it was easy

Book 4: Well here's the first hard one and boy is it hard you have to collect one of each item in the game a very hard one for those of us who can't read japanese

Book 5: This is how long you've played the game so just leave your ps2 on for a few hours (maybe a day or 2)

Book 6: Your arena status so go kick some PvP ass

Book 7: Ok I'm pretty sure that this is either types of monsters encountered(92% sure) or quests from thos little npc guys around town(3%)

Book 8: Don't know this one either but if you finish all the quest missions givin by the quest npc and all the fields given to you by the forum or email it'll be complete

If I'm not sure about one of these its because by the typ I finished the game the bar had been filled so i couldn't test them so if anyone could correct me that would be great
