Wonder Festival 2008 Summer
Decided to go to the wonder festival today at Tokyo Big Sight. For those who don't know what it is, it's the convention for figures and garage kits.
I got there around 10:40(it opens at 10:00), and I had to line up for a hour to get in... Then I had to line up for another hour to buy some limited edition stuff... Good thing it was only 35 degrees outside, and the humidity was only 80%. 
The 300 page ticket(weights a ton).

so how do you like japan so far? i was kinda confused when you said 35 degrees outside. forgot that its celcius not fahrenheit.
@Vanek PI: not bad so far. everything is smaller, but I can get around town without a car, so it's a good compromise. and I can buy my anime goods without paying the 50% shipping fee + import tax.
yep, both Canada and Japan use celcius, got used to it.
Im thinking of moving to japan but wont it be hard for me to find a job and learn japanese?

I just move to Japan Lu. how do i find out when and where all the anime/manga based event take place?
@Anonymous: I normally just check out the web sites of the regular participants to such events. Like the GSC blog, animate. They would normally announce what limited edition stuff they'll sell at such events.
@luperry: Those limited edition objects that they sell over there must be pretty expensive... But totally worth it am i wrong? ^_^

@Skeith The Terror Of Death: well... not really. they are priced the same as the non-limited ones. the only difference is that you have to fight others for them. ^^;
Oh really... That is pretty good for limited edition stuff espicially that Blu-Ray Hack GU DVD you got :D
@Motoko Kusanagi: .hack GU trilogy blu-ray is not limited, you can get that very easily.
@luperry: LOL in that case, can they be considered cheap? since they cost the same as non limited while being limited? ^_^
