I started with Naruto. That was the first one I was fascinated of. I love this mix of action and feelings. Then I saw Noir and found it very nice. but most fascinating was the soundtrack.

Then I found .hack//sign and i really loved it. But the soundtrack of it is fantastic. After i have seen all avaiable .hack episodes I tryed black cat. Hey this was really funny  :-)

Now i will look around for new stuff.

Well, I started off with Trigun it will always have it's own "Favourite" feeling for me. But honestly, I could not really pick a favourite since I really liked alot of the anime i've watched.
Fate/Stay Night, Ai Yori Aoshi, Elfen lied, Steel Angel Kurumi, Bleach, Naruto (when it's not doing fillers =p - yet running ramen is somewhat exciting..)
ugh too hard to decide. lol..

my fave is .hack//SIGN... and i'm addicted to .hack stuff XD but to be honest non of the sereies/manga/games were as cool at SIGN... roots is trying to be SIGN like... but... SIGN is way better XD

btw... a year ago i became big fan of Gundam Seed... now i'm a Kira fanboy XD but ofcourse.... it's not as deep as .hack :P anyways... somehow i realy liked it... watched the series 3 times within 3 months

I think it's safe for me to say that the anime I enjoyed more than any I've ever watched is "Kanon". Kanon was such a good story. While I've seen some good stories recently - Air, Rec, Rozen Maiden, Tonagura! - I haven't really enjoyed/been obsessed with an anime like I was obsessed with Kanon a few years ago. The fact that the artists who made Air are remastering it this year has me very excited.

Anyway, that's it for me.

The after much nagging from my freinds I sat down and watched FMA thought it was great was my favorite for a while.
Recently I came accross BECK which is my absolute favorite combines Rock and Anime into a really great experience I'd recommend it to anyone who has ever enjoyed music

Hmmm I would have to say my Favorite would have to be DNAngel.  Like most americans who started anime, I origionaly started watching DBZ on Cartoon Network, lol but I eventualy Grew out of that and was able to go online.  Online, I found many Virieties of Animes, the ones i liked Best were DNAngel, Black Cat, Trigun, Prince of Tennis, Hikaru No Go, Ah! My Goddess, Gundam Seed, .Hack//Roots, Bleach, Inukami, Binbou Shimai Monogatari, And many others, but all and all...

I perfer DNAngel the Best.

How can you pick ONE favorite anime??!^^ Here's some of my favorites, I'll post more later!

The coolest action anime I've ever seen!: Bakuretsu Tenshi (burst angel).
 OVA 24 eps.
              Zone of the Enders-fans-must-see! Awesome armor-suit battles!
              Also includes some of the most awesome fight-scenes I've ever seen,
              cool and echi character design.

The best manga I've got my hands on!: Angel Sanctuary.
Manga 20 books
              Awesome story about Setsuna (and the other 20 main characters.. >_>)
              One thing I liked about it was that they put the the demons as part of
              the "good guys" here (at least most of them) While most of the
              angels are cruel and tyrannical, "bad-guy-like" Heaven has been corrupted
              by conspirations becouse of god's slumber. The world hangs in the balance,
              anything can happen anywhere at anytime! Such as the explosive event in
              the third book, now thats sudden!

The most well done anime I've ever seen: Blood+.
Airing show, 43 eps so far.
              A must see for vampire fans! Based on reality today, add vampires.
              Where to start.. Cant say to much without ruining anything, coz of the
              very well planned event chain. Aha, got it! It is about the girl Saya,
              and her quest to stop the chiopterans (vampires). Note:They
              say "chiopteran" translates to "a formal word for bat", however, if memory
              serves, "teran" is Latin for  human, and i think "chiop-" is the word
              (or part of the word) for bat. If anyone knows for sure I'd love to know^^.
              The only thing that can kill the chiopterans, is either severing the head
              from the rest of the body, complete annihilation of the body, and Sayas
              blood, which reacts with the blood of all other chiopterans and causes them
              to crystalize. Why, how, and so on would be a major spoiler.
              Oh, and to those of you who's disappointed in the monsters that you
              mostly will be seeing a lot of in the beginning while expecting the cunning
              gracefull vampires, do not worry, these are just lesser vampires, not even
              a shadow of the real thing (which yes, do look like humans).

I wont take up space with all the great ones so i'll just put a couple out there that no one seems to talk about.  Demon Eyes Kyo, Beserk, and Ninja Scroll if you haven't seen them you should check those out.

I've seen about 30-40 anime series in their entierety (not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing). My first was AstroBoy (in the 80's - dubbed), but out the bunch .. if I'd have to pick a top 10 right now out of the series I have watched to completion (hypers are to animenfo.com descriptions).

There are sooo many more that I have heard great things about from others in the community. I got a "to watch" list the length of my left arm + the right one. I'm watching a bunch too right now that are shaping up to be pretty decent, most noteably Black Lagoon -- very entertaining.

I started out with Gundam Seed on friday nights on YTV for canadians... Then my friends got me into FMA and Naruto and that. Then I started looking for my own cool anime. The best I've seen so far is probly Chrno Crusade, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bleach, Elfen Lied, Cowboy Bebop, .hack//sign and roots of course and Zegapain.

gundam seed and gundam seed destiny..mai hime and dot hack sign, dusk, and roots..inu yasha , naruto, trigun, full metal alchemist  and last but not least        elfen lied.

My favorite series to date would have to be Evangelion, and .hack//SIGN. Dual was a good anime as well, even if it was fairly short (Most of the good animes are, it seems).

I really liked Kurau Phantom Memory, and I just loved Noein (great story, nice graphics even if it's a little bit strange at first sight, stylish graphics during fights).

I also liked other animes like FMA, Noir/Madlax, Samuraï 7, Planets, The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, FMP (1, 2nd raid, Fumoffu - Fumoffu is very funny and can be watched apart) and others...

my favorite animes are trigun, hunterxhunter and of course kenshin...i can't decide which is the best between them

ooh I hope Kenshin gets better.. I've watched the first 20 or so eps and it's kinda fluffy for my tastes, and the arcs are too short for my liking too.

if you want kenshin to be not 'fluffy' you should watch the Samurai X OAV in those Kenshin was badass he kicked much ass

I'll admit it, dragon ball(not z) was my origins, I loved the show back then, couldn't get enough, then dbz, which I know, get off my back, I was younger then. Then I hit these fellows, which I hope many of you enjoyed with me

@Shuhei: Diehard anime fans who can only watch a series of anime if it's in japanese with english subs, where it's either always got to have some kind of sexual reference, or on the flipside has to be serious, and criticize anybody who goes against it, like a strict catholic or an orthodox jew. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!! !_!. Yeah, for me, it was the kids in the corner of the lunchroom, playing with yu-gi-OH cards, and wearing the inuyasha gear to the point where you couldn't tell if they were human or not.
