Plot Summary: On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon a boy who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. Commenting on Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting Kyon unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves literally dragged into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short). iv just started to whach this anime (i realy do mean it, im not even half way thru the first ep) and i have to say this "what in the name of -insert name here- is going on in that anime?" its odd............but i like it

It really is crackish isnt it :P. hehe. I like it though. It sort of reminds me of Air.
I've finished watching it and I really dont see a problem with the way it ended but I do hope a 2nd season comes out.
I feel so sorry for Mikuru. ^^

in which order did you watch it? following haruhi or kyon?
2nd season would be great. as i read in another forum there's still enough of the novels left for another season. would love to see that. but well, first of is the remake kanon. and another season of full metal panic would be great too... :D

I liked it quite a lot too, but I have to say that the first episode was really weird (the movie), but you understand things afterward and it was quite fun to watch it again after finishing all the episodes !
What do you mean by "in which order did you watch it? following haruhi or kyon?" ? I personnaly watched it, well, in the "normal" order I would say ! I just followed the episode numbers :D but soon you realize that this ain't the chronological order...

i meant, if you were watching the show as it was aired then it was kyon's order.
not chronological. 1st aired was actually episode 11.
haruhi's order would be chronological. just following the plot.
this would be the two different orders to watch:

Episode 02 = Episode 01
Episode 03 = Episode 02
Episode 04 = Episode 07
Episode 05 = Episode 03
Episode 06 = Episode 09

I watched it by episode number. If you watch it in Chronological order..I think it takes away from the storyline imo. =/.
Episode number gave the ending a better close me thinks. :D

thats like i did watch it too.
just been curious... as i have heard from some people they didn't liked it in that order. i even read a comment like "i rate this anime 0 out of 10 points. bad quality, not even fullscreen..." and so on. only, he had just seen the first episode :D
i think in this order you can see kyon's and haruhi's relationship better. that ending is pretty nice, if you're watching it by episode order, not chronological.

I also watched it in episode number order, but some time I'm going to go back and watch them chronologically. I'm still looking forward to a possible continuation, though.
