Right...So .hack G.U. came out on the 11th....I finished it by the 13th. Does this mean I have too much time on my hands? Oh. And just so you know, I have almost all the characters and weapons. Bourduex sucks too. She's only lvl 74 when you get her. The Azure Knights are a pain to get their affection up, but their attacks are pretty good. Zelkova's scythe, the Goddess Scythe, is probably the most powerful scythe in the game...Even more powerful than the Lost weapon scythe, the upgraded ticking death (Now called shadowy death upon full upgrade). Shino is ok, but not to great, Kaede is so-so as a blade brandier, I have yet to aquire Natsume, and Tabby....Well, let's just say to get Tabby, you better be prepared for ALOT of difficult fights. The Forest of Pain event turns out to be well over 40 blocks long. I just reached block 40 this morning, and I'm pretty sure that's not even close to the end. HOWEVER, you are able to get 2 special items on the way to block 40: The Fairy queen orb (Like a fairy orb but has unlimited uses), and the Pure Medallion (Like a healing potion, but with unlimited uses.) I strongly suggest buying alot of fire barrels and hurricane razors for the bosses here, seeing as how they take forever and a day to kill even though they resemble monsters that appeared on the delta server. Cubia is tedious when it comes to battle, but I have to give the creators props for making a semi-difficult final boss for once. I mean, ya. Fighting Ovan a second time, in addition to fighting Corbenik the 2nd was tough, but Cubia was actually somewhat tough. I'm impressed. As for the Xth form, I can dig it. There are only 4 weapons for it (I've only aquired one so far, the starting weapon DG-X), but that's cool. Also, the use of cheat alchemy, which requires cheat codes obtained from data anomollies while using data search, to upgrade your rarity 5 weapons is pretty damn sweet. I can finally make Matsu's sword powerful again! x3 So ya. Long story short, i beat the game in less than 24hours time. =/ I also managed to beat it 10 levels below the reccomended finishing level. (EX: I went into a level 123 area at about level 115...To fight Ovan.) Does this mean I have no life, or that I'm just good at games? i'm voting no life.. .. then again... you are gabi ;P.. screw plot completion, finish those ryuu books >P! (then again i had my chaos gates and bike finished as soon as I started >.>;.. played a little too much vol 2 i did >> << >> ^^;.)
you'll find that the forest of pain isn't that hard, well. all the monsters countering your ass into random status effects is annoying, (so carry lots of the heal all status of everyone, and heal all status effects of one, or just only use the guns :/.)
Anywho, have fun finishing the forest of pain, aquiring natsume, and all the other post storyline things to do in .hack//vol 3 :D! (and dont do it in another 24 hrs time ><! XD;.)

Well, I got Tabby. You get her on the 50th block of the forest of pain. She SUCKS though. You can't change her weapon AND she starts at level 116. WTF? Anyways, I'm battling my way through with Azure Kite and Azure Balmung. I started with Balmung and Oracs, then Orca and Kite, and now Balmung and Kite. I hate this event so much. I'm hoping to get all three Azure knights up to level 150 so that I can take out the doppleganger and get some new guns cause I'm kinda getting sick of the weakness of the DG-X. (That and I can't get enough Cheat Codes to upgrade it to level 2. =/)
So ya. I'm still rather perplexed as to how long the Forest of Pain actually is. I'm hoping I'll get Natsume soon so I can stop tripping and get Spiral Edge already. I mean, ya. Empty Skies is a dream come true, but I kinda want Spiral edge more. @_@;;;
And I already finished the Ryu books. =/ Took me.....3 hours to kill them all. I figure I'll have the game completed by sometime tonight or tommorrow. And ya. I played Vol 2 a little too much myself. Finished 3 of the Ryu books as soon as I started. @_@;;; And yes. I AM Gabi. So suck it. >3 I wish you cvould get his prettiful sword though. D: And Sakaki's too. But you can't! D; Although Silad is kick ass! (It looks just like Taihaku's Gunblade, the Enchanted Sword Maxwell, but it's a broadsword.)

Also, I found an easier way to get people's affection levels up. First, you must aquire the special work BBQ Plate by beating the game. (I think that's how I got it.) Then, go to any area using that word. (If you want to make it easier, choose a delta area level that's really low. Preferably a field.) Then find the God Chim Chim in the area and kick it.
What's so special about the God Chim Chim? Well, everytime you kick it, you get as many Chim Chim spheres as you would get kicking a King Chim Chim. You get about 40 per kick. After kicking the God Chim Chim 10 times, it speaks to you breifly, increases your party member's afection level (It does not matter who as it increases the same for everyone.) by two dots, meaning you could theoretically get one party member who's affection is at zero (Or the red spere with now rotating dots) to max within 12 God Chims.
Although it is time consuming, trust me. It pays off. I managed to get all three Azure Kinghts to max Affection this way in a matter of minutes. (Doing it the natural way gives you one dot every 30 rengekis or so).

lol? how you get the guns again? xD coz i kinda want the better guns >_< and oh.. why not just use cat whiskers in forest of pain xD Sure you don't get shit unless you complete what they ask for.. but you can always go unoticed by monsters xD

Here's how you get them. :D
DG-Y: Complete the random tasks in the Forest of Pain. You should get it around Block 30-55. It'll be around there. It's weaker, but has a better effect.
DG-X: Beat the True Cernonus at the end of the Forest of Pain. AKA the 100th block.
DG-0: Beat the Dopple Ganger using the Slepnir tactic and then make sure he has the guns on when you kill him.
Note: The DG-X is the best gun to have and also looks the best. Be aware it's effect cuts your opponents health down by 95% on a critical hit. :)

i already cleared the pain of forrest but i couldn't find her.....
i heard that you will get Natsume's member address if you cleared the chaotic PK side quest.....but still...none
and i don't even get a card for the wedding event!!!!

@Krizzle: Can you make haseo marry Kuhn or another male character? Like Azure Kite or Endrance? I'm just a tad curious. So, can you please explain the Max Affection Event thing please? Thank you very much!
it's like this dude. You can only marry females. Shino, Atoli, Pi, Alkaid, TAbby, about every female partner you have except for Natsume. for the guys, it's called "forever friends" or something like that. I forget.The only male character you can marry in Endrance which I find creepy. As for you quesiton thing, you can't make other characters marry others. YOu can only do things with Haseo. You can only do the marriage or friendship even when you have Max Affection(a large pink ball with five smaller balls encircling it). The easiest way to do that is to get the area word, BBQ Plate which you'll get if you defeat the game. hope that helps you bud.

@Fyat Kazuki: Thanks, that's really helpful^^ though i thought you could marry piros too. lol i wanna make hasoe marry endrance^^ but....... ive only beaten part 1 so far... ive been looking up info on the games and stuff lately. It would rule if haseo married Azure Kite.... that would totally rock my world^^ and put me in a permanent good mood lol thanks again
