It is very interesting really the whole preview is
unlike the preview for vol 2 this one has a bunch of words in German so I can translate a few of them some of the ones which apear near the part with Yata are;

Most likely referring to Ovan:

I believe variants is either in reference to the Epitath Weilders or the Azure Knights

that's from the Epitaph of Twilight... well... the line with helba wasn't realy like that in the original EoT... i think (Helba, Königin der Vinsterness.... something like that)

It came out to be "The shaded man searches for the twilight dragon/kite" and I thought 'shcatten'/'shades' was refering to ovan's glasses but i forgot that shade also refers to shadow :P

So ya that line should read like the one straight from the epitath
"The shadowed one searches/quest for the twilight dragon"

There are so many more lines but they're so hard to read since they're in white text and so are the sketches

anyway the word for glasses is 'Brille' and Sunglasses is "Sonnenbrille'

Though it is an interesting kinda wordplay kinda like how the word 'drachen' can be translated as dragon, as in Twilight Dragon, or Kite, as in the hero and now mysterious enemy of the .hack//games

the reason why the two languages are similar is since they are both eastern european languages so they both were influenced by the germanic tribes kinda like how western languages are extreemly similar and asian languages are too

Helba wasnt able to kill Data Bugs in the final dungeon without Kite, she was just hacked. Which would basically go for the phases as well, or anything else that requires data drain to beat. I doubt she could take on tri-edge and win with hacked stats alone. Haseo and crew have something outside the confines and rules of the game, helba's just cheating.

yeah.... but Helba can teleport anywhere anytime and even use the omnipotent state...so u can hear her voice, but she's nowhere to be found... so basicly it's a stalemate... she has stats that are within the rules, so she don't have a chance against an avatar... but than again Haseo and co could never track him... well... maybe Yata could track her data

It looks like he's just 'awakening'

In a previous ep he did ask Pai about her sensation when she 'awoke' and I could tell it somewhat worried him under that emotionless mask of his.

actually i don't think yata is unawakened, i believe he awakened a long time agon, and is just infected with an AIDA, cause in volume one you saw Pai's face when she was infected, plus these are just sketches as in he most likely won't look like that.... but the possibility of him not awakening is still quite high, because it is true in him being curious about Pai's awakening...which'll be really funny, cause he's the Guild Master of Raven and he has yet to awaken..lmfao, every other Epitaph user has awakened their Avatar, but i can't say that for Ovan, because i have yet to see his Avatar, though im told it did indeed appear in vol.2

Had Yata not previously awaken, it seems like he could see the avatars.

Unless of course, he KNEW he was one, he just hadn't awakened yet.

Which also raises the question, how many people know about him being the Prophet?

Yata knows that he is an Epitaph user because due to him working for CC Corp he has the data of Fidchell put into his char, but the thing is if im correct he has yet to awaken his avatar, which in short means he is the last Avatar we'll lay witness to...lol

Yata is Wiseman, this is confirmed as far as I know.
Kuhn is Seig, This IS confirmed.
Endrance is Elk, Not confirmed but a lot of evidence points to it being true
Zelkova is Helba, Not confirmed.
Haseo is Sora, Confirmed that Haseo did play R:1, was Data Drained by Skeith and remembers none of it. All else is a guess.

Natsume and Piros are themselves obviously.

@Exotahu: Where the hell did you get haseo as sora? Haseo said in //roots that he had heard the game was good from friends who played R:1. he never played it...unless i missed somthing. whats your source?
