Looks like a Steam Gunner-esque form.  Possibly double-wielding.  Seems very cheap, almost deus ex machina.  I hope there's a good explanation for it.  Still, it'll be fun to play.  After all, I want to see what Steam Gunner is like.

Now that you mention it, it does look like his x-form. another person said it was the avatar markingsall over him, but I never could tell

but if that's his X-form... than why does the old version of Skeith showing up by him? XD where's the fancy gold Skeith from vol2? XD

dont know...they've been known to make mistakes. Maybethat skeith is the true form of skeith if we go by the theory that endurance powered skeith up. the new skeith would have been something out of the ordinary....bu then again there are mny loop holes.

from xamining the pic tho, much of the stuff matches x-form. (xcept howhis shirt goes down in the back.)

I guess we wont really know nless:

2:The next game comes out(january-right around my birthday!!)

I think in the last episode of .hack roots on the very last part it show shows haseo;s x form like the image you posted shuhei

@CruelAngel: ok, this was a teaser to show somethings we had not seen, as in Skeith had yet to appear once, in Roots, so they were just showing the avatar, and that is in deed haseo's Xth Form, plus Skeith will change yet again one more time like Haseo, because Haseo has gained a new transformation, so "why would they even show Lvl 2 Skeith?"....thats the gist of it

Hmmm...skeith doesnt have his dress in the pic though...I wonder if skeith gets a new weapon(a big big big BIG gun)...

lmfao, i doubt that much, cause Skeith's sig weapon was the scythe and staff in previous versions....so i doubt they'll give him a gun to mimic Haseo....lol

As it's been repetedly said,Haseo has an Xth form.However the class it is is a secret class only truly accesible to Haseo:Dual gunner. It's a cross between twin blade and steam gunner.In Vol. 3,the only game you get to use it,it has 2 techniques:I forget one of them,but I know the other's called JUDGEMENT. As for skeith, he gets a new look.Nothing like his first two. It looks like a white grimoire holder,not the book itself,with 8-red swords.The swords can form a scythe and a data-drain cannon around his arms.How does he unlock it? I'll give you a hint:Cubia. If you've beaten Vol. 2,or have a japanese copy of Vol. 3 that you've beaten,you should already basically know.

Greetings!I made the post above this one.I forgot to add,after looking again through the entire thread here,that Haseo actually has a pretty normal spped and a higher strength,however,the one pair of dual guns you first get are your only,but Since you only get to use it for not even 1/8 of the game,It's actually a bit more powerful than it leads on.;) I also remember the name of the other technique:JUSTICE.Though I don't know the power of either,I'm sure they devistate monsters health.The good thing about both techniques:You don't have to level the weapon up!The only 2 skills you get,you get right away.YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!

doesn't seem that its that smart of business plan to try and create hype this way especcially with such a small series

ya the xth form is bad ass and zalcova is the one who gave you the form shieths wepion is a sith and beem swords  it is so bas ass sucks you only get to fight one avatar battle
