Aww but if you don't use Pai you won't get the joke not like many americans would anyway but it could still be kept as a kind of inside joke.

Listen, its always been Pi, its just the jap. pronouncement! say "P.I." 

as you'll notice, its pronounced "Pe.Ai." dont´pronounce the e in P  and you get Pai!

actually it was printed 'Pai' in plain Romanji in a few different places plus there's no indication that her name referred to the mathmatical symbol

Pai sounds good. and ye thanks for clarifying. after all... I don't know much japanese so no way i could have made that conection :P Pai is better ;) first thing I noticed in .hack//G.U's trailer was the above mentioned conection... just didn't know the irony behing her name :P

I should also point out the fact that people might start pronouncing it llke 'pee'... I can already imagine kids teasing each other like "Haha, you got 'pee' in your party."

@Shuhei: heheheh...how many little kids... uh..... my freinds little brother is in kinder garten and he watched my sign, LoTB, and watched us play infection...and of course, the rating system is very different in usa and japan, for example in megaman zero, their version of E has blood whenever you kill smething..lots of blood, in the usa E version theres no blood...except for the few good guys...

You can't trust the Japanese writing in english.  Just look at some other mistakes there.  Pi is the correct name you can check Dothack.Wikia.com/wiki/Pi it says it right at the bottom that Pai was a mistake.  The joke behind her name was always the symbol Pi and Pi loves math its even explained in the games themselves at one point.
