Dr.Masuda's research team uncover a pedastal with a small indention. Dr.Masuda places a small zohar-shaped necklace into the indentation lines around the pedastal begin to glow. The real Zohar apears

TC 4XXX(cant remember the date)
Woglinde crew find a Zohar(really it's a zohar emulator) one crew member touches it and disapears

Shion dives into KOS-MOS's subconcious to perform a daily test

After some not really important stuff happens The Woglinde is attacked by the Gnosis

Shion is attacked by Gnosis and goes through partial whitening before saved by a surprisingly activated kos-mos

shion, lieutenant virgil, Comander something(his first name is andrew), and allen make there way to they escape pods

KOS-MOS kills vergil while protecting shion from a gnosis

I didn't play the first one too. but I got a bonus DVD containing cutsences of X:epI Shuhei pretty much filled you in, but theres still more about Febrona and stuff.

@leingod: is that the disc you get with 2? and Shuhei that part you posted i know most of because i whatched most most of the anime

The Woglinde is destroyed by the Gnosis Allen, Shion, and that Commander Andrew Cherenkov guy are the only survivors

The Elsa is flying through the space where the woglinde was destroyed looking to salvage they spot kosmos floating through space(How hammer reacts is really funny) and think shes just a corpse. She the gets up making an "offer" the elsa couldn't refuse

The elsa rescues the survivors and kosmos

A gnosis apears and grabs Cherenkov he goes through partial whitening before chaos touches the gnosis completly desintigrating it

Around this time Ziggy rescues momo from the U-Tic organization

While in the middle of a gatejump the elsa runs into ziggy and MOMO while they are being chased by UTic. They help them out and they board the elsa

When they gate out they are eaten by the giant gnosis cathedral ship (The one that ate the Zohar emulator after the woglide was destroyed

The group is seperated from the elsa, cherenkov also is seperated and struggles through the ship affilicted by bad memories, his personality rehabilitation, and the onsets of Gnosisification.

The group finally finds the Zohar emulator and Cherenkov who the turns into a giant gnosis

After defeating Gnosis  Cherenkov the cathedrral ship starts to desintigrate the group and the elsa reunite and escape  but are  soon  attacked  by thousands of gnosis The Durandal comes to their aid and destroys them with a radiant attack.

After joining the durandal they head to the kukai foundation

They meet gaignun, do some other stuff...blahblahblah....then the federation attacks blaming them for the destruction of the Woglinde since it was thought that there were no survivors they wouldn't believe any testimonials so they had to dive into Kos-Mos's subconcious to retrieve the video evidence

During this time they relive the events of the Miltian incident

Eventually they make there way to a Church where they meet Nephilim and Febronia

Nephilim shows them the possible future (KOS-MOS using her tertiary weapon system against U-Do and Miltia being destroyed ) and tells them to save the future they must confront the past

After defeating a gnosis they find kosmos tied with cables to a cross like objectand they get the desired evidence

After proving there inocence Albido shows up and uses the Song of Nephilim to summon forth a shitload of gnosis

After the group goes through the kukai foundation saving people Vector show up with The Damerung, Woglinde II, Welgunde, and one i can't remember and release the Rhine Maiden a devastating anti-gnosis weapon.

While helping the people on the kukai MOMO is captured by albedo and taken to the Song of Nephilim. When the group finds out they have KOSMOS use a huge kickass weapon(forget its name) to make the song of nephilim visible

This is one of my favorite parts in the game albedo has so many great quotes my personal number one favorite

really i'd buy the game just for that part, how the hell did he go from that to quoting McCartney

They make there way through the song and make there way towards albedo while fighting his AMWS Simeon

After they encounter him(I don't remember if you fight him or not) he escapes you then have to fight a testament (I think it was the blue one)

At that time Albedo uses the little bit of the y-data he got from MOMO to bring back proto merkabah(a anti gnosis weapon used as a research lab by mizrahi to develop the 100-series) from the abyss

The group goes through proto merkabah and face the reactor core which had been turned into a giant gnosis

After defeating the core proto merkaba begins to fall towards second miltia but KOSMOS stays behind to destroy proto merkaba as the group flees to the elsa

KosMos makes it back to the elsa and uses her sheild to protect the elsa from the atmospheric heat

whew finally done god that was alot

really you should buy for 15-20 bucks its well worth it

ah thank you very much and i will ether "acwire" a "back-up" of the game or i will look for it at game station (i got 2 pre-owned from there for £19.99 were as game were selling it for £25 pre-owned)

really once u finnished 2 you can jump right into 3 its database is extremly expansive which covers almost every detail of the first 2 games and has really detailed info on the  xeno world(Takes so damn long to read)

@Shuhei: thats a game i happen to be "acwireing" as we speak (damn leechers downloading it then not seeding)

They never even sold Xenosaga 1 in Australia to my knowledge, they skipped straight to 2.

I found the videos from http://www.onegaistudios.com very handy - they're much more complete than the bonus DVD as they include all of the fmv scenes.

@immortius: No they didn't release it in Australia, in fact if I recall, they never released it outside of Japan and America so the Europeans missed out too!
I'm getting the first game imported very soon, hopefully (if my sister decides to buy it...). I've watched the Bonus DVD with the Xenosaga I cutscenes but its no fun without game play.

Oh yeah, there's also a Xenosaga anime series which is a variation on the first game's plot. Too different from the first game to use to know the plot though.

So Europe did sell it, thanks for the heads up, I really can't wait to play for number III I heard its out already in the US and I'm stoked!

I was somewhat dissapointed with #3. It didn't in fact explain a lot of the mystery's inbedded within the story, and the database fails to answer most of them. Instead the database offers a lot of speculations in reguards to some of the games biggest mysteries without even offering an answer, an. example "We don't know why blah blah blah happens, but we believe..."

Very good game, never expected  the Red Testament doing that, but at all The end I don't know your opinion, is not the end, as wilhelm sais
