my computer is named pleiades

the Japanese equivalent is "Subaru"(yep, same as the .hack//Sign character, and the car brand), the constellation symbolizes elegance and beauty in Japanese culture.

I had to reformat my computer once and i left my comp at work for the techy there to do so, i noticed only after trying to share a folder that he named it Happy Machine -_- I need to change it but im not very original with names, so it'll stay like that till i get my new baby next year, i need a serious comp upgrade ...

in order from what I can remember:
first comp: dewminator
second comp: lordofthedew
third comp: dewofthefates
fourth comp: dewmatic(my most powerful machine yet)
laptop: dewsbury
before this, I have forgotten the order, but other names included

and the rest don't have names

my workgroup names have been similar, as I've gotten new routers.....(dewline, pipeodew, etc.)

my computer namings involve far too much l337 and the use of the word baka >>;. for instance my current laptop is named "7hin m0b1l3 b4k4" er wait.. that's its description. it's named "t3h_b4k4" pfft whatever. if i get a mac i'd probably name it t3h_l337_b4k4 or something XD;.

LOL some1 like the word baka :| My computer.. i've been trying to name it 0334678 :-\ No idea why tho.......

i call my comp Blaze as i leve it on for that long when i tuche it it burns me

well I've had loads of pc's and nearly every reinstall of the OS meant a new pcname :p

here are the current names:
Main PC: APOCALYPSE
Server: GODFATHER
Laptop: Laptop (yes, very original :p)
other pc: 64bit monster (very original again :p)

older names included: Pc Blue, Pc Plod, CIB (which stood for Computer in Black), crap pc, fast pc :D

SHODAN

I've had many Macs... I don't remember all the names.

The last few were "Power_Ranger", a PowerMac and "MacNCheese", a G3 laptop

When MacNCheese's motherboard blew up, I replaced it with a white G4 ibook. That one was named "White_Hope" because I was hoping it would have a longer life, lol.

Recently I replaced it's hard drive with something bigger and upgraded it to Tiger. (I know Tiger has been out forever but I am a very conservative upgrader.) My computer has now been renamed to "White_Tiger" mostly because I couldn't think of anything better at the time.

I have roommates and we have several other Windows computers networked in our house.

The server is named "Vortex" mostly because it is used for downloading things off the net.

One roommate has named his computer "Darth". The other formats his computer a lot and so he renames his computer often. Right now it is named "Eeeek."

We have one very old computer currently in use as a doorstop, but even it has a name... "Stumpy."

I call my computer from Hell computer company Johnny Parkinson's because my mouse has parkinson's disease due to Hell's substandard components.
