It's been a while since my last status update.

I moved to a new apartment last September (was quite a pain), and spent the rest of the year furnishing my place. Now it's fairly complete and comfy.

Other than the air conditioner, I had to get everything, including the curtain, the ceiling light, and my own washing machine. I can't imagine how I'll be able to move out of here with all the stuff I have now...

My Canon point-and-shoot served me well for the past year, but recently, I found that my cellphone camera is almost on par(not even close) in the image quality department, while not being such a pain to carry.

So, for the purpose of taking good indoor shots, I went out and bought myself a dSLR, the Canon EOS Kiss X2 (a.k.a. 450D or Rebel XSi), for kicks(as in, for serious image taking), and re-tiring the point-and-shoot to a sidearm status.

My first impression with the dSLR: "god damn heavy", my second impression: "my god, I didn't know you could do that with a camera".

Arrival! This is the room I'll be living in for the next month or two. It's a guest house, with a private room and common areas shared by others. The room is pretty small, with not so small furnitures, kinda makes me wonder how they moved them in in the first place.

And today is my first day to work.

Will be heading off to Tokyo tomorrow afternoon, so this is most likely my last post in Canada.

Here are all my luggages, while my figures, games, etc will be shipped to me in a few months.

Got the job I went to Japan for. So I guess I'll be moving to Japan in a couple of months(unless my visa gets declined for some reason).
