If you are watching Welcome to the NHK!, you might know that Satou has made a game, but the anime didn't reveal what game he has made...

Guess what, the game will be on sale this November, accompanying the limited edition of the 6th volume of Welcome to the NHK! the manga. The three heroines are, Alice Yamada(a vampire of thousands of years old), Bashal Guligula(the princess of a galactic empire), Nie(a forest spirit)... ^^;

From the looks of it, it looks like a 18+ H-game, but since it'll be accompanying the manga, I'm not too sure about that.

Something to look forward to in November.

The opening theme of Welcome to NHK! Performed by ROUND TABLE featuring Nino, really interesting name for a band. The band was called ROUND TABLE at the beginning, then they had a guest vocalist named Nino joining in, so now it's "ROUND TABLE featuring Nino".

This is the show that's replacing Suzumiya Haruhi's usual time slot.

I didn't have a high expectation for this anime at the beginning(one of the reasons maybe is because I really liked Suzumiya Haruhi...). When I saw the title, I thought it's gonna be a show about the daily lives of some guy who's working for NHK(Nippon Housou Kyoukai, or the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation, big big broadcasting company), like Ghiblies from Studio Ghibli. It turns out the NHK here actually stands for Nippon Hikikomori Kyokai, it roughly translates to The Social Outcast Association of Japan(imagine otaku, in the extreme sense).

Yep. It's a show about otaku(I guess having "otaku" in this site's title alone is a good enough reason not to omit this anime), and the female lead looks really cute, though she too has some weird interests(Suzumiya Haruhi II!?)...
